Malvazija Ribca 2025 – Malvasia with aromatic Muscat notes
Malvazija Ribca 2025 it stems from the old Istrian vineyard logic, where individual vines of muscat varieties often grew amongst the Malvasia vines. Malvasia gives the wine body and structure, while Muscat provides aromatic breadth. Together, they create a wine with a long, lively, and very gastronomic story.
Three weeks on the foreskins
The grapes were harvested at peak ripeness, and the Malvasia and Muscat were macerated separately for approximately three weeks. The fermentation began spontaneously with indigenous yeasts from the vineyard.
Two flights on the yeast
The wine matured for two years on its lees in used oak barrels. This gave it texture and maturity, while retaining beautiful acidity and freshness.
In a glass
The aromas reveal white chocolate, nutmeg, a hint of cinnamon, ripe tropical fruit, and fresh muscatel notes. The taste is textural, with a pleasant acidity and freshness that cleanses the palate and invites food.
To the table
We recommend it with fatty fish, white meat, soy dishes, fusion cuisine, vegetable plates, and fresh salads.
