Malvazija Pilj 2021 – jantarna malvazija za posebno mizo

Malvazija Pilj 2021 prihaja iz gričev Manžana in je ustvarjena v duhu minimalnega poseganja ter potrpežljivega zorenja. Grozdje prihaja iz trt z nizkim pridelkom, steklenica 0,75 l pa je namenjena počasnemu odpiranju vina in trenutkom, ki jih delimo za mizo.

Six days of maceration

After destemming, the grapes macerated on their skins for six days. The wine then matured on its fine lees for one year and continued to age in used oak barrels.

In a glass

The deep amber colour hints at a rich structure. The aroma intertwines ripe tropical fruit, fennel, almonds, delicate vanilla, and slightly nutty notes. The taste is full, mellow, and long, with the distinct texture of macerated Istrian Malvasia.

To the table

It pairs excellently with raw marinated fish, oysters, seafood, grilled pork, braised pork in darker sauces, roasted root vegetables, fermented cheese, and fennel dishes. Serve at 12–15 °C.
