Wild leek is a wild plant that is picked in Slovenian Istria from late autumn to spring. Dried and ground into a powder, it retains its distinct leek, green, and slightly wild character.
Use it as a seasoning for soups, stews, potatoes, egg dishes, sauces, vegetable dishes, pasta, risottos, and homemade spreads. It also pairs well with wild asparagus, olive oil, and simple Istrian dishes.
Salt is concentrated, so add it in small quantities and to taste.
