Muscat 2025 – dry, aromatic, and gastronomic
Muscat 2025 This is an independent interpretation of the Muscat variety from the Domačija Butul cellar. The wine draws on old Istrian practice, when Muscat vines often grew alongside Malvasia vines in the vineyards, adding aromatic breadth to the wine.
Three days on the foreskin
The grapes were macerated on their skins for three days, and fermentation has preserved the varietal expression and texture of the wine.
Ripening in three vessels
The maturation took place in a combination of used barrique barrels, stainless steel tanks, and glass demijohns. This allows the wine to maintain a balance between freshness, aroma, and mellow maturity.
In a glass
Muscat is a dry wine with an alcohol content of approximately 13.5 %. The aroma reveals notes of flowers, honey, ripe pear and Mediterranean herbs, whilst the palate is medium-bodied, clean and long-lasting.
To the table
It pairs excellently with oysters, richer seafood dishes, mature cheese with preserves, fermented vegetables, Asian-inspired dishes, and aromatic vegetable platters.
