The wasp, we've always called it a 'žuca' here, It is a traditional dish of slow-cooked pork and beef bones. The long cooking process creates a naturally firm texture and a rich, full flavour.

We prepare it from pig trotters, tails, and snouts with the addition of beef bones. We add bay leaves from our garden, coarsely ground Sečovlje salt, and peppercorns brought from Sri Lanka.

We offer the soup chilled in a small bowl, and it's slowly scooped out with a spoon. It is perfectly complemented by bread, onion, egg, or a few drops of good vinegar.

The product is seasonally available in April before Easter and due to the cold chain, it is intended for personal collection only in Manžan or Ljubljana.

Net quantity: 370 ml Traditional homemade jellied pork, 370 ml.
