Romanesco also thrives here in cooler conditions; after harvesting, we immediately clean and pickle it to preserve its characteristic texture and fresh vegetable flavour.<\/p>\n<h3>Taste and use<\/h3>\n<p>Serve it with cheese, cold cuts, eggs, potatoes, fish, roasted meats, salads or as a standalone snack. Its shape also makes it stand out nicely on a tasting platter.<\/p>\n<h3>Spicy character<\/h3>\n<p>The filling is complemented by coriander, black pepper, sea salt, cardamom, and peppercorns, which enrich the romanesco with an aromatic, slightly spicy character.<\/p>\n<h3>Serving suggestion<\/h3>\n<p>Drain the romanesco well and serve chilled or at room temperature.
